HB1481 IS SIGNED BY THE GOVERNOR

Delegate Ben Kramer took the opportunity to reinforce the connection between the fate of Sligo Creek Golf Course and the history of HB1481.  The Governor, Lt. Governor, House Speaker and Senate President are all golf fans and were happy to demonstrate their understanding of down-county's passionate commitment to preserve the course as a course by posing with golf clubs.  

Ben said he raised a few eyebrows (and a few heart rates) when he pulled the clubs out of a lawn and leaf bag behind the Governor, but Ben -- like all of us fighting to keep Sligo Golf Open -- had come in peace to celebrate our government serving the needs of the people of Montgomery County competently, effectively, and prudently.
