Protecting native species (plant and animal) is part of the raison d’être for organizing Sligo Creek Golf Association and continues to play an important role in our activities. We work closely with Friends of Sligo Creek on tree plantings and other environmental protection projects, and have supported the course’s pursuit of Audubon certification to recognize its efforts to protect the natural heritage of golf.
